Two Fine Little Citizens

It was one month ago today when Bohdan and Eliana became citizens of the United States. We all touched down at JFK after a long plane ride and the rest (as they say) is history. Our two little citizens are doing well, and they keep us busy as they explore everything in their new world.

At a young age, they've already paid visits to Moscow, New York City, Chicago, Ft. Wayne and Anderson. Although it's been a great adventure, we're looking forward to cooling their jets a bit and settling into Indianapolis. That is until this Summer of course, when we plan to hit the Outer Banks and Lake Michigan so the kids can spend some more quality time with family. And, we'll need to hit a Cubs game (or two) as well.

Bohdan is walking all over the place now, and Ellie isn't far behind. She likes to get up and walk a few steps. But, she tends to get so excited with herself that she usually falls down from laughing. It's a riot to watch. Mom and Dad are having the time of their lives and it's hard to imagine how things could be any better in the world.

Here are some pictures so you can see just how big Bo and Ellie are these days. Be well.

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Due to all the fun we've been having, our goal of updating the site on a weekly basis has turned into more of a "when we have time" deal. In the last couple of weeks, the kids have been taking in their big, new world. They've enjoyed a trip to Chicago, visits to the Indianapolis and Lincoln Park Zoos, a trip to the mall, time with grandparents, a few stops at restaurants in Broad Ripple, visits with new friends and lots more.

Bo and Ellie are both eating everything in sight. Bo loves music and starts dancing whenever we turn something on. His favorites so far are Beatles for Babies, Ralph's World, Maroon Five and Dave Matthews Band. Ellie really enjoys going for walks in the stroller and looking out of our front window at her new neighborhood. She also smiles and waves at everyone, so she's making lots of new friends wherever we go.

Both kids are happy, healthy and packing on the pounds. Here are some pictures to show you what they've been doing lately.
