We're ready for spring at our place. Bo and Ellie love playing in their basement, but that's no substitute for running around outside. Until the weather warms up, we'll have to make the best of it. To that end, we've been goofing off and playing a lot of dress up. Bo and Ellie like playing cowboy. Here are some pictures of the kids at play.

Bo's Big Birthday Bash
On Friday, Bo turned two. We celebrated with dinner out at his favorite local spot. But, today was his big party with cake, ice cream, presents and visits from his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.
When Ellie saw the presents sitting on the back porch, she said, "ho, ho, ho." Although Santa never arrived, she had a big smile on her face thinking it was already Christmas again.
Bo had a ball today and he now has lots of new toys to play with. Ellie also cleaned up with a few gifts of her own. Both kids have a real sweet tooth, so Bo's cake didn't stand a chance.
Next month we'll celebrate the day we became a family. Then, Ellie gets to celebrate turning two in early April. We have much for which to be thankful.

Bo and Ellie Eat the World
We did not set out to taste the world, but as it ends up, Bo and Ellie have been enjoying their own international food festival lately. Between a few family dinners out and some dates with friends, the kids have tasted Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Indian and Greek food all in the last two weeks.
The Greek food at Santorini was their favorite. In fact, the owner was so nice to the kids that they received a personal visit from the chef. The kids are regulars at this great Fountain Square restaurant and they really seem to enjoy the VIP treatment.
Beyond food, the kids had a chance to play in the snow today. We haven't seen much of the white stuff this winter, so Bo and Ellie took advantage by making snow angels and eating snowballs. A few pictures of their outdoor adventure follow.
