A November to Remember

We came full circle today. Last month, a neighbor came to our house for a Halloween party dressed as Santa. Today, the kids went to the mall and saw Santa again. It wasn't our neighbor this time, but he sure looked familiar. Red suit, white beard...you get the picture.

Anyway, the kids sure have had a hectic schedule lately. Between jumping in leaves, dancing to Cinderella, hanging with friends at preschool and having a sleepover with their cousins, there has hardly been enough time to have ice cream at Baba and Papi's house.

Thankfully, we've been able to squeeze it all in. And there was even enough room for a few pieces of pie at Grammy and Papa's house on Thanksgiving. Ahhh...to have the metabolism of a two-year old again.

Halloween Party

Nothing beats dressing up and acting like a goofball. So, that's what Bo and Ellie have been doing this week. They dressed up for preschool on Monday. Then, they wore their costumes to lunch and saw their Greek-friend Janette. Mom was calling for a quick nap before sunset, but the kids were too excited to get any rest. So, as soon as 6 p.m. rolled around, it was off to our old neighborhood to see a few old friends. Then, we raced back home to visit our new neighbors.

Wow...what a week. Thanks again to the Alderdices for supplying the costumes this year. The kids really enjoyed being baby Jayhawks.
