Closing Out A Great Year

Boy...did we have some fun in December. We ate everything in sight and spent lots of time with family and friends. We even went to a holiday part at preschool and got to make cookies and create our very own ornaments for the Christmas tree.

The Marker family came to our house on Christmas Eve. And we went to Baba and Pappi's place in Anderson on Christmas Day.

Ellie was very excited about Baby Jesus this year. She asked to kiss him in the manager at church and then she wanted to have a birthday cake for him on Christmas. It was cute, but Ellie sue comes up with some clever ways to get her cake and ice cream.

Between Christmas and the New Year, we took a family trip to a lob cabin near Nasvhille, Ind. We had a great time and saw lots of deer and wild turkey. Then, we had our friends, the Burkes, over for New Year's Eve. Several friends who know the Burkes joined us and we ended up with a full house (15 kids; 14 adults) to ring in 2007.

We were certainly blessed as a family in 2006. And we are looking forward to another great year. All the best to you and your families this year.
