Vacation OBX
Every other summer we trek to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for some fun in the sun. Michelle's Aunt Wilma and Uncle Billy live there and we really enjoy the visit.
This trip, Bo and Ellie put their new swimming skills to the test and found the Carolina beaches to their liking. We also flew kites, visited a lighthouse, ate lots of seafood and fed the ducks at Aunt Wilma's house.
Later in the week, we even got to go down to the Oregon Inlet fishing center to see Uncle Billy's boat come in. After 700 lbs. of tuna came off the boat, Ellie wanted to know when the big fish would jump back in the water.
Bo also took an interest in the pirate history of the Outer Banks and he could be seen most days wearing his eye patch around the condo. All Ellie wanted to do was swim and she had plenty of opportunities to play around in the pool. We can't wait for our next trip.
