Nothing Beats Summer
We've been having a ball. Between learning how to jump off a diving board to breaking plates at GreekFest, we've really been enjoying summer. We traveled to Ft. Wayne for the Fourth and the kids tried their hand at sparklers. They thought the fireworks were pretty cool, but it was tough for the little people to stay awake since the show didn't start until 10:15 p.m.
The next day was a big hit with Grammy and Papa taking the kids to the zoo. They even drank from a water fountain inside a lion's head, just like Dad did when he was a kid. Then, we got to party with the Alderdices and listen to their favorite band, The Verge.
Now, we're getting geared up for our week-long vacation in South Haven, Mich. We leave in less than two weeks. It won't be long now. We'll post some pictures when we get back. Take care.
